Let’s discuss about Effective Morning Habits for a Productive Day;
If you’re like me, your mornings are a bit of a rush. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “sleep is for the weak” and if that’s true then it would follow that waking up early is even more so. But there’s something about starting off your day on the right foot (or paw) that can make all the difference in how you feel throughout the day. So here are some habits that will help get started off right:
Get some sun.
Getting some sun is a great way to get your day started. Sunlight helps to regulate your internal body clock, which in turn helps you wake up and feel more energized, as well as sleep better at night. Sunlight also helps with vitamin D production, which can be important for everyone’s health!
Your Day Off Right.
Starting your day off right is important for many reasons. The first thing you do in the morning sets the tone for how you feel, what you do and how productive you are throughout the rest of your day. If you start off on a positive note, then it will be easier to stay positive throughout all of your tasks and responsibilities.
If you want to start off right, here are some ways that could help:
- Wake up early enough so that there’s time in between getting ready (like showering) and eating breakfast before work/school starts at 8am or earlier if possible! This way when everyone else wakes up around 7:30am with their coffee cups in hand walking out their front doors with those bright smiles on their faces because they’re excited about starting another day; but we know better.
- We know this isn’t true because we’ve experienced it ourselves countless times before so don’t let anyone fool themselves into thinking otherwise!
Do a quick clean-up.
- Put away your dishes. You’ll have plenty of time to clean up later, but it’s a good idea to get them out of the way first thing in the morning.
- Make your bed or at least straighten it up so that it looks like someone made it. This small task will make you feel more organized and productive for the rest of the day!
- Do a quick tidy-up of anything else around your room or apartment that needs tidying up (like clothes on chairs). This will help reduce clutter and give you more space in which to relax later on in life’s journey.
Meditate for 5 minutes.
Meditation is one of the most important habits you can develop. It helps to relieve stress, boost your immune system and give you more energy during the day.
Meditation can be done anywhere and at any time. You don’t need any special equipment or clothing; just find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed for five minutes (or longer if possible). If necessary, use earplugs or noise-canceling headphones to block out distractions like traffic noise or other people talking around you.
Sit comfortably with both feet on the floor and close your eyes for about five minutes while focusing on breathing slowly in through your nose and out through pursed lips as if blowing kisses into space. Once thoughts come up in your mind and they will just let them go without engaging with them further than necessary; then return back to focusing on breathing again until time is up!
Exercise for 5 Minutes or Less.
One of the most important morning habits to start your day off right is exercise. Exercise can be anything that gets your heart rate up, whether it’s running, walking or even doing squats in the living room. The point is to get moving for at least 5 minutes.
- Exercise has been shown to improve mood and memory, reduce stress levels and increase energy levels throughout the day! It also helps you sleep better at night because it releases endorphins which are chemicals that make us feel good when we exercise regularly.
- You don’t have time for an hour long workout? Don’t worry even if all you do is take a brisk walk around the block or around campus on your breaks from class,
- Studies show that this will still give similar benefits as longer sessions of moderate intensity workouts like swimming laps in pools or jogging around parks for 30 minutes per session. Not only does this mean more time in bed but also less time spent feeling sluggish during those early hours before work/school starts each morning!
Do 10 Pushups, Sit-Ups, or Squats.
Pushups, sit-ups and squats are great ways to build strength. You can do these exercises at home or at the gym (if you have access).
- Pushups: Lie down on the floor with your hands directly under your shoulders, legs straight out behind you, toes touching the ground. Lift up off of the floor until only about 2 inches remain between your nose and chest (or as far up as feels comfortable). Lower back down until arms are completely straightened again. Repeat 10 times for 1 set; try doing 3 sets total!
- Sit-Ups: Lie down on a mat with knees bent 90 degrees, feet flat on floor in front of thighs; grab opposite sides of mat under head/neck area with hands clasped together so no gaps exist between fingers/thumbs when holding onto each end tightly throughout entire movement pattern.
Morning habits will help you start your day off right
- Drink a glass of water: This is a simple morning habit that can help you feel energized and alert. Water helps your body fight off fatigue, so it’s important to drink at least 8 glasses a day (or more). It also flushes out toxins, which makes you feel healthier overall!
- Stretch: Stretching wakes up your muscles and gets them ready for the day ahead. A quick stretch before starting work will make you more productive throughout the day because it reduces stress levels in the body by releasing tension from tight muscles.
