The couple, Anya Taylor-Joy as well as Malcolm McRae have secretly tied the knot.

Page Six reported that the couple held a private wedding ceremony in a courthouse in the United States before heading overseas to Australia to shoot “Furiosa,” which is the prequel to “Mad Max: Fury Road. ”

McRae and the “Queen’s Gambit” actor and McRae first started rumors of an engagement when she was seen with an engagement ring getting off a private plane from Sydney, Australia in June.

It was reported by the media outlet that TaylorJoy, and McRae are planning an even bigger wedding when they get back to the United States.

Taylor-Joy’s representatives didn’t immediately reply in response to Fox News’ request for information.

The couple made their debut on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar after-party in February. However, they didn’t discuss their relationship until she conducted an interview in British Vogue’s its March issue.

“I have told my friend one day the other day that McRae was my favorite hobby,” she said of McRae.

“I’ve finally found someone who will be silent with me while I’m and read. We’re both essentially 80 and seven simultaneously and it’s working very well.”

When asked about their long-distance relationship Taylor-Joy stated, “Yes, it is challenging but it’s also a lot of fun since when you’re together, you really appreciate the time you spend together.”

She added: “Everyday mundane activities are very enjoyable. I am a sucker for going to the petrol station with him, taking care of the car, and then having breakfast.”

The couple became Instagram’s official in February, when Taylor-Joy shared a photo of them of her kissing McRae for Valentine’s day.

Recently, her husband shared photos of her and Taylor-Joy from the evening of Vanity Fair Oscar party and wrote about how “proud” that he is of the actress.

“Don’t understand what you think this Merry or Pippin looking man on the left is an obnoxious mugging, but I’m happy for this girl,” he said.
